  • c) If any individual, company, or entity is found to be directly or indirectly copying, imitating, or infringing our content, we reserve the absolute right to initiate strict legal action against them under the Copyright Act, 1957, Information Technology Act, 2000 and other applicable laws of the India.

  • d) Such infringing party shall be liable to receive a legal notice, cease and desist notice, and may be liable to pay damages, legal costs, and compensation. We may also report such infringement to relevant authorities and platforms

  • We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes arising from airlines, hotels, transport providers, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or any force majeure events.
     
  • We act only as an intermediary between clients and third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, transport companies, etc.) and shall not be held responsible for deficiencies in their services.


5. Governing Law

  • Your use of this website and any disputes are subject to the laws of India.
  • This website and its Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Faridabad, Haryana.

7. Website Security and Unauthorized Access


Clause 1: Website Security and Prohibition on Hacking

a)Any attempt to hack, gain unauthorised access, introduce viruses, malware, or cause any harm or disruption to our website, servers, or databases is a serious criminal offense.

b) We strictly prohibit any form of hacking, data scraping, data mining, SQL injection, or reverse engineering or our website

c) Any such activity will be treated as a cyber crime under the information Technology Act, 2000 of India. We will take immediate legal action and report the matter to the Cyber Crime Cell of India.


7.1 Client and Vendor Data Protection


Clause 2: Confidentiality and Data Protection

a) All information, data, and details shared by our clients and vendors on our website are strictly confidential.

b) We are committed to protecting your personal information. We do not sell or share your data with any third party for commercial purposes, except as required to complete your booked service.

c) We use standard security measures to protect the website, but you also agree not to share your login ID, password, or OTP with anyone. Any loss due to sharing your credentials will not be our responsibility.


7.2 Fraud & Crime Protection


Clause 3: Limitation of Liability and Fraud Prevention

a) Our company is only a facilitator for travel services. We are not responsible for any fraud, cheating, or misrepresentation done by any third party impersonating our company.

b) All official payments will only be made to our official company bank account / official payment gateway mentioned on the website. If a client or vendor makes payment to any personal account, the company will not be responsible.

c) In case of any cyber crime, financial fraud, or misuse of our brand name, the company reserves the right to file an FIR and initiate criminal proceedings.

Disclaimer

Booking & Payment Policy

We request our valued clients to kindly read and understand our booking and payment policy carefully before confirming a package. This ensures transparency and a smooth travel experience for both parties.

Payment Structure

Depending on the type of package booked (domestic or international), the following payment terms will apply:

Option 1: Domestic Packages (Short Duration)

- 20% of the package cost at the time of booking (non-refundable, confirms the booking).

- 80% balance payment to be made at least 7 days before the departure date.

Option 2: International / Premium Packages

- 30% of the package cost at the time of booking (to secure hotels, flights, transport).

- 30% of the package cost to be paid within 30–45 days of booking.

- 40% final balance to be paid 15 days before departure.

Option 3: Peak Season / Last Minute Bookings

- 50% advance payment at the time of booking.

- Remaining 50% balance to be paid at least 10 days before departure.

Important Notes

- Advance payment is non-refundable under any circumstances.

- Failure to make payments on time may lead to auto-cancellation of the booking without refund.

- Payment can be made via Bank Transfer, UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or other approved methods.

- Certain special packages, peak season departures, or international tours may have stricter payment terms, which will be informed at the time of booking.

By confirming your booking with us, you agree to abide by the above terms and conditions.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Trips and Trails, cancellation and refund terms depend on the type of service booked.

1. Flights

  • Cancellations and refunds are strictly as per the airline’s policy.
  • Service charges may apply in addition to airline cancellation fees.

2. Hotels & Resorts

  • Refunds depend on the property’s individual cancellation rules.
  • Seasonal conditions and notice periods may affect eligibility for a refund.

3. Holiday Packages

  • Customized packages are generally non-refundable unless specifically mentioned.
  • Partial refunds, if applicable, are subject to supplier approval.

4. General Refund Terms

  • Refund processing time: 7–14 working days after approval.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment.
  • In case of no-show or last-minute cancellations, refunds may not be applicable.
  • The company will not be held responsible for any delay, rescheduling, or cancellation due to weather conditions, political strikes, natural calamities, or other situations beyond our control (Force Majeure).
  • In such events, every effort will be made to arrange suitable alternatives. However, refunds or compensations will depend on supplier policies (hotels, transport, etc.)
  • We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen expenses.
